M4N DNA is the long-term preservation layer of M4N: a DNA-based archival system being developed to store essential data in a form designed for extreme durability, density, and continuity across generations.

M4N DNA is part of the project’s deepest long-term preservation strategy. It is currently in the research and concept phase, with development expected over a longer horizon as synthetic molecular storage technologies become more accessible and practical to implement.
